Session Description:

The first paper published looking at the use of social media within fertility practices is 10 years old and was presented as an abstract at this conference. In this talk, we take a look back at how social media has shaped ART practices and how it is beginning to shape patient education and the delivery of healthcare information moving forward.

Session Objectives:

1. Review the history and evolution of social media and the trends in platform usage along the way.
2. Recognize the various platforms and venues that our patients use to get fertility information online.
3. Provide the audience with a tool kit on how to begin their on social media presence.
