Session Description:

This session will explore pending and proposed legislation as well as current case law that may seem unrelated to REI practice but may profoundly impact our ability to form families through assisted reproductive technology.

Session Objectives:

  1. Identify potential state legislation that may impact the ability to form, transfer, and store embryos.
  2. Understand the impact of state v. federal legislation and case law on IVF and third party reproduction.
  3. Learn what you can do to educate legislators before proposed legislation becomes law.
