Session Description:

The acceleration of demand for IVF due to greater insurance coverage, growing awareness of ART’s role in fertility preservation, disease prevention, LGBTQ options and reactive infertility risk mitigation poses both opportunities and challenges for the industry. How do we model the future demand for ART, and how do we use those projections to 1) make informed decisions about evolving practice models, 2) change our assumptions regarding training, staffing, and allocating investments in technology, and 3) choose between funding options for pay for future growth?

Session Objectives:

  1. Identify the underlying shifts in demand, supply and inputs that will change the way we practice ART and IVF in the next decade

  2. Identify industry-wide data to rationally plan for future growth

  3. Identify the specific challenges that new patient groups and indications for ART will pose, above those from traditional infertility patients
