 Session Description
  • We all now how to measure lab KPIs but do we know what to do when our data falls below benchmarks or is just stagnant? How do we take it to the next level? This session will explore actionable strategies for troubleshooting, problem solving and improving lab outcomes and performance. This session will help laboratory leaders navigate the steps involved in interpreting their KPI data to determine if a problem exists, the steps for identifying the source of problems in the lab, and how to implement effective corrective actions to create change in a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Session Objective
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of how to interpret laboratory performance data in order to identify problems in the IVF laboratory.

  2. Apply the knowledge learned from this session to implement effective troubleshooting steps for determining the source of problems in the lab and how to effectively correct them with collaboration and communication.

  3. Integrate the strategies presented in this session into the quality management program in their own labs in order to optimize and improve laboratory performance and culture.
