 Session Description
  • The disability burdens of mental health disorders may be further exacerbated in the setting of infertility. It is well known that because of the associated stigmas, both these conditions are underdiagnosed and undertreated, thus resulting in long term adverse outcomes.  Therefore, screening for and managing these conditions will result in marked improvements in the health outcomes of these patients.

Session Objective
  1. Demonstrate knowledge of the co-existence of mental health disorders and infertility.

  2. Manage the mental health burdens of patients who are navigating infertility treatments.

  3. Integrate evidence-based guidelines for optimizing mental health during IVF treatments.
