 Session Description
  • The embryology laboratory is the engine that drives the IVF program. Gold standard laboratories are built with state-of-the-art equipment, skilled staff and a tightly controlled physical plant that includes clean air. Air quality can be maintained in a variety of ways involving engineering and also good laboratory practice, ensuring embryos are being cultured in optimal conditions.

Session Objective
  1. Understand what engineering controls contribute to clean lab air.

  2. Maintain good laboratory practice ensuring clean lab air.

  3. Measure lab air elements and relate them to lab KPIs.
