Event Policies: PCRS 2023 Annual Meeting

March 22—26, 2023 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA

COVID-19

The health and safety of all PCRS participants remains a priority. In order to comply with event directives, we will be requiring all attendees to upload proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or Rapid, within 72 hours of event) prior to the event. Each participant must upload their own document through their own mobile device. Links to do so will be provided closer to the event.

PCRS is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States and California specifically. PCRS is following guidance from local California public health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding face maskssocial distancing, and large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

California Mask Protocol

MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for everyone in indoor public places, regardless of vaccination status. Due to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, California recommends everyone wear masks in indoor public places (such as grocery stores and movie theaters) regardless of vaccination status.

For further information, visit California Department of Public Health website.

At this time, our upcoming PCRS annual meeting will take place in-person as planned.

Attendees should also:

  • Socially distance when possible;
  • Stay home if sick or exposed to COVID-19; and
  • Consult with a healthcare provider about attending if you have underlying health conditions or a weakened immune system.

PCRS will continue to closely monitor news, local government, and the CDC for the most current guidance regarding gatherings. We are hopeful that we can meet safely in-person in Indian Wells, following the most up-to-date safety protocols. Social distancing, wearing masks indoors, asking participants to provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Card, or other safety measures (i.e. testing prior to arrival, rapid testing on-site) may be required for participation in the event. A negative test result will be accepted in lieu of proof of full vaccination (full vaccination means with a booster shot). More details will be sent to all registered attendees. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to be flexible while we work within the limitations set by our obligations and the current pandemic.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. A $75 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations received before February 11, 2023. No refunds will be issued after February 11, 2023. A Substitute attendee will be permitted.
